The Allay Story
Allay Home and
Hospice is a locally owned Home Care and Hospice provider. Allay was
founded in 2007 by Rich Firth and Jeff Paul who felt a strong need to have a
local ownership presence to honor their commitment to the patients, families and
communities they serve. Allay's care philosophy is to care for each
patient and family as we would our own. That care philosophy has helped
Allay to be the fastest growing provider in the market while maintaining a more
personal based approach to care.
Allay provides
Hospice and Medicare Part A Skilled Home care in: Racine, Kenosha,
Walworth, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Jefferson, Ozaukee, Washington and Dodge
counties.
Allay Cares
Allay also gives back to the community through the
Allay Cares Foundation which is funded by employee donations with a company
match as well as family donations. The foundation has made not only
monetary donations but has supported volunteer opportunities for Allay staff
including food sorting at the Hunger Task Force, Blood Drives, serving meals to
families at The Ronald McDonald House, area Humane Societies and many more
charities and events.
Home Care
Home care is a broad
term that describes a wide variety of health and
health-related services provided in the home.
Home care is
available to people of all ages with either acute or
chronic conditions, as well as the disabled and
terminally ill. The
home care staff will work with the patient and their
families to teach them about their condition as well
as how to care for themselves or the patient, so
that the patient can be as independent as possible.
Hospice Care
Hospice is not a place, it
is a commitment to caring for those who have a
terminal illness, who are
no longer seeking aggressive treatment or a medical
cure. The hospice
approach to care focuses on palliation and symptom
management as opposed to curative care.
Hospice can either be provided in the comfort
of your own home, a skilled facility, assisted
living center, hospital or CBRF.
Even when medicine cannot provide a cure
hospice can offer you and your family comfort,
compassion and assistance that can help maintain a
better quality of life.
